49 Games Deep

So we are 49 games in after 2 rounds (plus play-in game) of semi-entertaining college hoops, and so far I am a solid 24-25, very close to my prediction of 32-32 last week.

We here at "Random Thoughts" apologize for the lack of postings the last few days. Intelligent readers will realize that our columns have suddenly came to a halt after Friday night's Vermont win over our beloved Orange. I have not spoken to either Paul or Dan, whom I assume are both in some type of cave or man-made hole most likely in the fetal position trying to understand why they support Coach Boheim and his seemingly Roy Williams-esque collapse.

But enough about the past, tonight resumes the Madness that is March and I have my 8 picks, 2 of which I feel strong about, 4 of which I think I might win, and the final 2 I have no idea what will happen.

By the way, I am fourth to last out of 77 pools at work...its been a great ride so far!

Locks
Mich St (+4.5) v Duke
Texas Tech (-2) v WVU

Semi-Locks
Louisville (-1.5) v UW
Wisc Mil (+11) v Illinois
Nova (+10) v UNC
Kent (-4) v Utah

Un-Locks (hmmm..hahaha.....ha)
Arizona (+1.5) v Ok St
Wisconsin (+2) v NC State

I will have some reflections on the first 2 rounds later tonight.
