Fantasy Chat
I was thinking about doing another weekly column where each Friday I would answer readers questions about who to start on Sunday for fantasy football, whether possible trades would get through or be vetoed, and who I thought would would be victorious this weekend. But to do that, I would need active readers who participate. Actually, I would first need to "readers". I know there are some out there....Mark?.....Chris?.....Liz? I am pretty sure that even two of our founding fathers Paul and the artist formerly known as Sky don't check this thing more than semi-annually.
Anyways here are my Top 3 fantasy performers for week 3 along with the bottom 3. Keep in mind that these players are what I consider Star quality. For the bottom 3 especially. It would be real easy for me to say that the 4th WR on the Browns wont have good fantasy stats, so I am not going to do that.
Top 3
1. Michael Clayton TB, WR
2. Brian Westbrook Philly, RB
3. Trent Green KC, QB
Bottom 3
1. Michael Vick Atl, QB
2. Ahman Green GB, RB
3. Chad Johnson Cin, WR
For the record, my two fantasy teams are a combined 1-3 so be careful to base your decisions on what I write.

By putting Chad Johnson that low, are you assuming a) Palmer has a bad game or b) Houzmendazdazzah grabs 14 for 220 and 3 TDs?
We're starting Palmer ahead of Vick this week, realizing the Bears' D is legit but Vick's terrible. Great 4th round pick after a few beers. The brainwashed comments that you have included ('most explosive / entertaining / black') got us to grab him. I still check this once a week (if not more). Later
Palmer is quickly becoming the poor man's Peyton Manning but I simply can't see him doing that much against the solid secondary of the Bears. That said, he does have Johnson, Housh, and my favorite keeper for next year, Chris Perry as weapons as well as Rudi. Should be a great game. Look for Chad Johnson to check off "Yes" next to Jerry Azumah's name on his "Did he cover me" chart.
