I mean, I don't even have to argue against Buffalo over UAB. The numbers speak for themselves. Somewhere, Joe Lunardi is nodding his head. As for Northern Iowa compared to Buffalo, I think the committee needs to put a little more weight in conference tournament performance when settling the bubble. Call it the "Notre Dame Factor:" if you can't beat a team worse than you in your conference tournament when your bid is on the line, you don't deserve a bid. Northern Iowa lost in the quarterfinals of the MVC to SMS. Buffalo beat every team except Ohio in their last 10 games, and almost beat Ohio in the MAC championship. If Al were animate, he'd be nodding too.

And don't get me started about why Ohio should have at least an 11 seed, not a 13 seed. Florida is in trouble in the first round.
